extra: healthy vegan chocolate frosting by get fit with natasha

vegan chocolate frosting

Because chocolate frosting goes with everything.

  • 2 cups cooked sweet potato ( baked or microwaved, skins removed)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp instant coffee powder (really brings out the chocolate flavour)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Plant milk to thin (if needed, 1 tbsp at a time)

Combine everything in a food processor or high speed blender for 1-2 minutes. Scrape sides as needed. Store in the refrigerator. The secret to keeping this frosting rich and creamy is microwaving or baking your sweet potatoes instead of boiling them. Enjoy on cakes, cupcakes, fruit….anything really!
